Celebrating Life Beyond Time
Since childhood, I have felt a deep connection to Mexico – a country I have never visited, yet one that has always fascinated me. Perhaps because, as a child, I saw through my parents’ photos – taken in Cancún – a universe of colors, skulls, fantasy, and traditions that instantly captivated me. Día de los Muertos has always intrigued me: a celebration that redefines death, transforming it into a vibrant tribute to life.
In Color Life, Happy Mind, I express this philosophy. Art, like life, is pulsating and full of emotion. And when I think about the future, I see Feijuca – my faithful companion – as my alebrije, my spirit guardian. Radiating happiness and boundless energy, she will be a symbol of continuity, of a connection that transcends time, and of the love that never fades. Because, in the end, that’s what art should be: a bridge between worlds, a reminder that living fully is the greatest tribute to those who came before us.
